Sharon E. JAYSON, 70, of Canastota, NY, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility, Oneida, NY.
Born July 6, 1945, in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of Stuart Lamont and Betty Jane Chaffee Williamson.
A resident of Canastota for the past fifty-eight years, Sharon attended Canastota schools. Prior to her retirement, due to a disability, Sharon was employed with the Die Molding Corporation for thirteen years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are: a daughter, Deanna Jayson of East Syracuse; five sons, Steve (Tami) Curtis of Oneida, Shannon (Teri) Curtis of Bridgeport, Dewayne (Theresa) Jayson of North Carolina, Danny Jayson of Munnsville and Derald (Julie) Jayson of Canastota; a sister, Beverly Lovett of Canastota; three brothers, Dick (Lena) Williamson of Mansfield, Ohio, Donald (Geraldine) Williamson of Oneida and Elden Williamson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Campbell Dean Funeral Home, Canastota.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the Mills Cemetery, Mills, PA.
