Shilo E. BLOUVET, 54, of Friendship, NY, died on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in her home. She was born on December 24, 1970, in Salinas, CA, the daughter of the late Mark W. Muzinich. On April 26, 2003, she married James Bradley Blouvet, who survives.
Shilo was a long-time resident of Friendship, having moved with her family from California in 2006. She was previously employed by Friendship Dairies as a Billing Clerk. Outside of her employment she enjoyed cooking, was an avid reader, listened to music and attended concerts, and had a green thumb - caringly tending to her 31 indoor plants. She drove Suburbans, loved animals, especially her two dogs and cat, and later purchasing abandoned storage units and selling their contents, even sometimes giving the items away. Overall, she’ll be remembered for her green thumb, generosity to the community and as the loving and protective matriarch of her family.
In addition to her husband of 22 years, Brad, she is survived by: a son, Jacob Blouvet of Friendship; a daughter, Haley (Alex Roberts) Patton of Belfast; two grandchildren, Braxton and Brinley; a sister, Cherub (Frankie) Berlanga of Hollister, CA; as well as a nephew Frankie and niece Maddie. She was predeceased by her father, Mark.
A graveside service is being planned for a later date in California. Please consider memorial donations to the SPCA Serving Allegany County, 5440 NY-19, Belmont, NY 14895. Services are entrusted to Olney-Foust Funeral Home & Cremation, Wellsville, NY. To leave online condolences please visit www.wellsvillefuneralhome.com.
