Velma Williams VALLIERES, 83, of Whitesville, NY, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, NY. Born September 14, 1932, in Genesee, PA, she was the daughter of Arthur J. and Katie M. Knickerbocker Jeffers.
She was employed by Galeton Production and drove school bus in Genesee.
Surviving are: her husband, Harvey; three sons, David (Tammy) Williams of Roaring Branch, PA, Edward (Chris) Williams of Farmersburg, IN, and Gordon (Dottie) Button of NC; a daughter, Sonya (Sam) Perry of Linden, VA; three step-sons, Joseph (Jamie) Vallieres of Independence, NY, Dennis (Rita) Vallieres of Genesee, PA, and Terry (Debra) Vallieres of Guys Mills, PA; two step-daughters, Janice (David) Hutchison and Cheryl (Jeff) Lewis, both of Whitesville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly M. Cook of Genesee, PA; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Cecil Williams; two daughters, Barbara J. Hamilton and Roxanne L. Reynolds; a granddaughter, Jodi Lynn Hamilton; six sisters; and four brothers.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
