Virginia R. Corio

PORT ALLEGANY- Virginia R. Corio, 85, of Two Mile Rd. passed away Monday (Mar. 28, 2022) in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born March 4, 1937, in Patterson, NJ, she was a daughter of Dusty and Eleanor D. Rhodes.  On Sept. 15, 2000, she married David A. Corio, who survives.

Virginia was employed with Boxerjam, Inc., as an on-line gaming support tech, before her retirement.

She was a graduate of Ramapo College of Mahwah, NJ.

Virginia was a resident of the area for 20 years, coming from Cedar Rapids, IA.

She was a member of Association of American Retired Persons and Port Allegany Senior Center 50 plus club.

Surviving in addition to her husband David, is a son, John (Dana) Atsatt of Virginia; two daughters, Missy (Lou) Warnet of Ramsey, NJ, and Cindy Kealy of Virginia; four grandchildren.

At Virginia’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
