William James GARDNER, 83, of Rigby, ID, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Shelley, ID.
Born December 3, 1938, in Eldred, PA, he was the son of Lynn and Ruth Gardner. On May 4, 1959, in Ulysses, PA, he married the former Mary Evelyn Dunn, who predeceased him on June 25, 2012.
Surviving are: two daughters, Debbie (Ken) Blanchard of Mill Creek, UT and Sherri (Mark) Caspers of Ocala, FL; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a son, William J. Gardner, Jr., on June 15, 2020; and a great-grandson, Mason Nash. His son, Charles R. “Charlie” Gardner, died on May 31, 2023.
Bill and Charlie were interred in Raymond Cemetery, Genesee, PA.
