Betty Jean HENRY

Betty Jean HENRY, 68, of Coudersport, PA, formerly of Ulysses, PA and Arcadia, FL, died Saturday, June 5, 2021 in her home.

Born October 19, 1952, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Richard W. and Hazel G. Buchanan Yentzer.  On October 9, 1971, in Coudersport, she married Roger L. Henry, who survives.  While living in Arcadia, FL, she was employed as a human resources coordinator by Golden Grove and Orange-Co for 17 years.  She was last employed by the PennDOT driver’s license center in Coudersport.  Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Arcadia, FL and attended the First Baptist Church, Ulysses, PA.

Surviving besides her husband, Roger, are:  two sons, Christopher Henry of Sebring, FL and Adam (Kristin) Henry of Arcadia, FL;  six grandchildren;  three great-grandchildren;  three brothers, Richard W. (Sharon) Yentzer, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, Kenneth P. Yentzer of Canandaigua, NY, and Rodney J. Yentzer of Coudersport;  two sisters, Patricia K. Stebbins of Coudersport and Marjorie A. (Gordon Patrick “Pat”) Rosenberger of Summerville, SC;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Mark George Henry.

Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.   Private burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Boxholder, Ulysses, PA 16948.
