Ronald R. MATHWIG

Ronald R. MATHWIG, 67, of Genesee, PA, formerly of Bedminster, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in Williamsport Hospital.

Born June 16, 1955, in Doylestown, he was the son of Reinhardt and Dorothy Lauer Mathwig.  Mr. Mathwig served honorably with the U.S. Army National Guard of Pennsylvania for 22 years, retiring as a Sergeant.  After his service with the Army National Guard, he worked in construction and was last employed by DCNR at Ole Bull State Park.

Surviving are:  his mother, Dorothy Mathwig of Genesee;  a brother, Steven (Carol) Mathwig of Genesee;  a sister, Patricia Mathwig of Quakertown;  a brother-in-law, David Welsh of Quakertown;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Sharon S. Welsh.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at the Mathwig residence, 27 Silver Fox Lane, Genesee, PA 16923 on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM.  Military Rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard.  A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow.  Memorials may be made to the family.
