Scott A. LANE

Scott A. LANE, 50, of Gaines, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in his home.

There will be an informal get together in remembrance of Scott Lane at the Gaines Township Building, 1517 Rte. 6, Gaines, PA on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, please help someone in need.

Born March 8, 1971, in Rochester, NY, he was the son of Clara L. Gascon Lane.  On June 29, 1991, in Avon, NY, he married the former Julie A. Sharp, who survives.  He graduated of Dayspring Christian School, Avon, NY in 1989.  He was employed by Shell since 2011.  Scott was a member of the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, NY, where he served as a volunteer.  He enjoyed going to airshows and was a World War II history buff.  Scott’s interests included restoring old cars and drag racing.

He is survived by his wife, Julie;  a daughter, Casey (Chris, Jr.) Hume of Wellsboro;  and a son, Patrick Lane of Gaines.  He was predeceased by his mother.
