Thomas L. KIO

Thomas L. KIO, 64, of Ulysses, PA, died Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre.

Born June 4, 1957, in Coudersport, he was the son of Donald F. and Audrey L. Flynn Kio.  On August 30, 1975, in West Bingham, he married the former Donna M. Gill, who survives.  Tom was a self-employed logger.  He attended the Ulysses Free Methodist Church.

Surviving besides his wife, Donna, are:  a son, Thomas L. Kio, II of Corning, NY;  three daughters, Rita Kio of Ulysses, Melissa (John) Waters of Whitesville, NY, and Jessica (Jeff) Willson of Tioga;  seven grandchildren, Dylan, Emma, Hailey, Olivia, Dane, Marissa, and Mariah;  three brothers, Michael Kio of Ulysses, Darrwin “Duke” (Sally) Kio of Ulysses, and Steve (Sharon) Kio of Genesee;  a sister, Donna (Durell, Jr.) Houghtaling of Harrison Valley;  nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents;  and a brother, Jonathan Kio.

Friends may call Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday in the Ulysses Free Methodist Church.  Rev. Marty Zdrojewski will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
